Press notes:
Revista de Vinhos, February 2005: Award of Excellence (Quinta da Viçosa 2002) “Very good colour, fruity aromatic notes, mineral and smoky touch. Intense on the palate, powerful and delicate, blackberries and deep long finish. A real revelation.”

Portuguese Wines, May 2004: "A new label from this producer and a lovely wine. Blended from Syrah and Trincadeira it has made 10,000 bottles. Toast and spices, coffee, cigar box and elegant cassis fruit. Broad and full on the palate, good cask well integrated into the ensemble, it has a long and well-seasoned finish."
