This was João Portugal Ramos's first label in 1992 while he changed the Portugal landscape as a consultant. This vintage, the blend of five lagar-to-barrel grapes hangs together well with its ripe tannins and spicy black fruits. Its density and concentration come from the structure, the layers of wood aging and the power of the fruits. The wine is still young and will be better from 2020. Roger Voss
