He chose Monção and Melgaço sub-region, in the Vinho Verde region to embrace his new project, where the terroir enables him to produce wines with distinctive character. There has been a growing demand for these elegant and engaging wines, both in the Portuguese market and internationally. By releasing his first Alvarinho wine with the guarantee of his signature, João Portugal Ramos continues to believe in the diversity and potential of all regions in Portugal.
