Tasting notes

Great aromatic concentration showing notes of red fruits and spices from Syrah grape variety, combined with forest and mushroom aromas, typical of Trincadeira.  A wine of great elegance with distinct presence of tannins. A long and persistent finish.

The grapes are handpicked to small cases in order to preserve the fruit’s quality.

Winemaking

The grapes are destemmed and carefully selected in a sorting table, followed by foot treading in marble lagares. The fermentation ends in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

In new French and American oak half barrels for a period of 12 months.
